Throughout its 20-year history, CW4WAfghan volunteers, supporters and staff have been recognized for their roles in improving access to and the quality of education in Afghanistan, and working to defend women’s and girls’ rights and opportunities. Paul Harris Fellow Award from Rotary Club awarded to current Executive Director Lauryn Oates. The Paul Harris Fellow Award which is the highest honour a club can bestow on a person, either inside or outside the club, acknowledging “service above self” to one’s community, nation or the world (2015)
