Raise Awareness and Funds
CW4WAfghan members believe that individuals working in solidarity can affect transformational change through the promotion of social justice and women’s rights. Our stakeholders in Canada, Afghanistan and beyond demonstrate their commitment as global citizens by participating in diverse activities to raise awareness and support for Afghan women and girls. Stay connected and informed by signing up for our CW4WAfghan Newsletter.

CW4WAfghan volunteers from British Columbia to the Atlantic provinces raise funds and build awareness. They organize, host and promote Breaking Bread dinners and a variety of other events held throughout the year. From small neighbourhood gatherings, to community walks, galas, classroom presentations and speaking engagements, CW4WAfghan relies on the amazing work of our members, volunteers and chapters who help turn the many ideas to share fun and fellowship into life-changing programming reaching thousands of Afghans each year. We are also grateful to the many Afghans in Afghanistan and around the world who translate educational resources materials in several languages for our Darakht-e Danesh Library.
