Deb Atkinson is a Chartered Accountant with more than two decades of financial, operational and leadership experience, working with numerous Alberta based organizations, ranging from owner operated entrepreneurial businesses, to large publicly traded global organizations.  Some of Deb’s experience includes strategic planning, operational budgeting, taxation, regulatory matters and managing multiple stakeholder relationships. Her own professional journey and raising a daughter, reinforces Deb’s belief in the power of education and the importance of women and girls’ rights.  Deb earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary (1999) and continues to reside in Calgary. Deb joined the Board in 2021.
